Warne (pictured) top scores with 63 in seven-wicket defeat
DEPLETED South Devon 2nd XI were seven-wicket losers in the F West derby date with Teignmouth & Shaldon 2nd XI.
Jonty Tupman opened up with 24 for South Devon and Kalen Warne pushed the score along with 63 in a final total of 143 all out.
Warne’s was one of three wickets taken by T&S’s opening bowler Lewis Jeffrey in his final spell. Will Moore, Tyler Blackburn and Andrew Espley had two wickets each.
Espley led the Teignmouth & Shaldon reply with a 12-boundary 62 not out in a 22.2-over chase. Moore made 38 in a match-winning stand of 78.
